PERFORMANCE TEAM
The UC Dance Company's performance team requires dancers to complete a successful audition. They will be provided the opportunity to participate in 2 dance classes per week as well as engage in activities such as: performing at Dino's athletic games, competing at dance competitions, team bonding events, fundraising and volunteering in the community!
Performance Overview
The Performance Team has various performances we work on throughout the year for our dancers. As a Performance Team Member, all performances are mandatory.
Dino's Games

The UCDC loves to help bring the school spirit to support our Dino's athletes throughout their seasons

The UCDC performs during halftimes and between sets of basketball and volleyball games throughout the year
UCDC at Competition

The UCDC prepares group routines as well as offers solo/duo/small group opportunities for our dancers

The UCDC will compete in 3 competitions, two local to Calgary and one in Ontario

Other rehearsals may arise depending on participation in additional competition numbers
NOTE: all performance team members will attend their class on Tuesdays AND attend the training team classes on Thursdays 7:30-9:30pm AUX Gym
Pricing for Performance Team
Performance team membership fee is $500 for the whole year!
This includes registration and costumes for two lines at three competitions, 2 dance classes per week, studio rentals, and a team photo shoot!
Note: Travel costs are not included, though there will be fundraising opportunities to cover the costs!
