Open Class & Auditions
Join the University of Calgary Dance Company for an exciting season ahead! Whether you’re looking to experience our style at the open class or are ready to audition for the team, this is your chance to meet our dancers, learn choreography, and showcase your passion for dance. All are welcome to come out, connect with the team, and see what being part of the UCDC is all about.
Open Class
Our intention for this Open Class is to give anyone who may be interested in joining our dance team the opportunity to participate in a class that has the same level of technical difficulty as our auditions
Open Class:
Tuesday September 11th, 2025

Time: 7:30pm-9:30pm MST
Location: KNA 117: Aux Gym
Cost: $11 for the Open Class, $11 for the Audition OR $16 for both

Open Class sign up will close September 10th 7:30pm MST
Audition sign up will close September 17th, 7:30pm MST

Note: if you want to attend our Open Class on September 11th and our Audition for $16, please fill out both forms separately!
You will receive an information email (includes a waiver and what to bring) before the audition

Show up to the audition 30mins early to check in, receive your number, and drop off your signed waiver

Complete a successful audition and check your email inboxes!

Audition format: warm up & conditioning, stretch, across the floor, progression, then combo
